Oriental Cockroach

Adult Males are 1 inch long, females are 1-1/4 inches long. Red brown to black. Early nymphs are light brown, get darker with each molt. During her life the female produces an average of eight egg capsules each contains 16 eggs. Indoors Oriental roaches are often found in bathtubs and sink areas outside you can find them in planters, ground cover, under stones leaf litter and other debis.They prefer to feed on starchy foods but eat various other items including decaying organic matter
